What is JYSK?
When entrepreneur Lars Larsen opened the first store called Jysk Sengetøjslager in Denmark, it was no coincidence that the word JYSK was part of the name. In Danish, it not only means that you come from the part of Denmark called Jutland; it also signifies modesty, thoroughness and honesty. JYSK stands for credibility - a deal is a deal.
