JYSK is a big company, and this means that we invariably influence our
surroundings and have to be conscious of our actions. This again means that we need to be in a continued
dialogue with our customers, the media and various organisations about the best way to run a company
- and also how issues and challenges are handled in relation to company operations. This also includes
communications with the public through the media.

We
want to prevent deforestation, particularly in southeast Asia. That's why through our committed membership
of the TFT we are working to ensure that the world's rainforests are run according to the principles
of sustainability.
We are also working to make sure that wood sourced
from the rainforests achieves FSC certification, which means that nature, animals and people are protected.
JYSK buys large shipments of products from suppliers located all over
the world. This means we are very strict about checking up on the ethical guidelines of our suppliers.
One of our requirements is that the surroundings, including the environment, nature, wildlife and people,
must be cared for and treated with respect.
